Thermal Ribbon Wax
Typically contain a high level of wax based materials, wax has a lower melting point than resin so less heat is required. Most waxes are softer than resin so there is less image durability.
Thermal Ribbon Wax Resin
High percentages of resinous material, more heat is required to melt than wax. Greater image durability and resistance to chemicals than wax ribbons. Most versatile for a wide range of substrates and applications.
Thermal Ribbon Resin
Highest percentages of resinous materials, more heat required to melt than wax or wax resin. As resins are harder than the waxes used, they contribute to excellent durability as well as high temperature and chemical resistance
Thermal Ribbon Fabric Care Resin
Resin grade specially designed for textile applications. Resists 50 times water washing, dry cleaning, stonewash and ironing. Compatible for both flat-head and near edge printers.
Thermal Ribbon Near Edge
Specially formulated wax resin and full resin ribbons for use on near edge head printers and high speed date coding applicators.
Thermal Ribbon Applications
